Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where and how are your products made?

All our designs are original and locally produced. With the exception of a few machine-assisted components, each piece is handcrafted. We work with a variety of glass types including machine-made soda-lime glass, hand-blown soda-lime glass, and lead-free crystalline glass.

  • Do you work exclusively with glass?

Our focus is primarily on hand-engraved and cut glass pieces, as well as works created using hot glass and kiln casting techniques—sometimes individually, sometimes in combination. However, we see design and art as a holistic practice, and we plan to expand our collections by incorporating other materials.

  • What is glass engraving and cut glass?

Glass engraving is an art form that has symbolized elegance and mastery since the 15th century. Rare and revered, it requires meticulous handwork using specialized tools.

Master artisans carefully etch the glass surface using diamond-tipped instruments and other tools. This labor-intensive process demands patience and dedication—completing a single piece may take several days.

Cut glass follows a similar philosophy, where various cutting stones are used to create texture and pattern. Like engraving, it requires advanced craftsmanship and precision.
